Cream Cheese Frosting

Cream Cheese Frosting

Enough to frost one 9" two-layer cake.

In a small bowl combine:
8 ounces (1 package) cream cheese, softened
8 tablespoons butter (1 stick), softened
1 teaspoon vanilla extract

Use a hand mixer to cream together.

Add:
1 pound confectioner's sugar
Beat together until no lumps remain.
